Extensive media coverage was received for various initiatives aimed at strengthening the rights of persons with disabilities and ensuring the effective implementation of government schemes. Public hearings and inspections were conducted at bus stands, railway stations, metro stations, universities, schools, banks, and other public places to assess accessibility and infrastructure for persons with disabilities. These inspections led to key policy recommendations and directives to concerned authorities, which were prominently covered by the media.

To streamline the execution of government schemes and ensure their benefits reached marginalized communities, multiple Departmental meetings and consultation sessions were held with various government departments and policymakers. These meetings led to crucial interventions that prioritized the concerns of persons with disabilities. The media played an active role in highlighting these developments, ensuring public awareness and administrative accountability.

Several Suo Motu orders were issued under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, and other relevant laws to address systemic issues and provide immediate relief to affected individuals. These orders resulted in swift administrative action and received extensive media coverage, reinforcing the importance of proactive governance.

In addition to coverage of official initiatives, leading national and regional TV channels, radio stations, and digital media platforms conducted exclusive interviews that focused on policy matters, public hearings, disability rights, and government initiatives. These interviews helped in spreading awareness and driving meaningful discussions on crucial issues. Print and digital media portals extensively reported on the progress of various initiatives, while electronic media contributed through special reports and documentary features that further amplified the impact.

Overall, the proactive approach toward policy advocacy and public welfare, combined with consistent media engagement, led to a significant increase in awareness regarding disability rights. The wide-ranging coverage in print, electronic, and digital media played a vital role in influencing policymaking, ensuring accountability, and creating a more inclusive society.
